Honoring Our Veterans
Our Tennessee Veterans deserve a government that respects their sacrifice for liberty.

Too often the contribution of those who serve in the military is forgotten once they come home. The members of the armed forces who come home after retirement and especially those who return due to injury in the field deserve our respect and assistance.

I will always stand firm against attempts like those made recently to charge for healthcare provided to our Veterans.  The ultimate price of sacrifice has been paid and should be honored.  Horror stories of bad care in VA hospitals, unsanitary practices and botched operations are unacceptable in a nation this great.

Whether it is fighting to help get our veterans the benefits they deserve or helping them gain better access to programs and care, I will be a friend to the men and women who have fought and sacrificed to keep America safe and free.
