Campaign Updates: July 4th

Like your family, we will spend the Fourth of July enjoying the holiday, the food and the fireworks. I plan to visit several celebrations tomorrow and hope to see you there. But we should always be mindful of the importance of the day. Our liberty is a miracle that we too often take for granted.

These days, when it seems government is in every part of our lives (and growing) it's good to step back and ask if this is really where we want to go as a nation.

July 4 is also a day to appreciate those who have defended our freedom and are doing so today. I am thankful for each man and woman who have given their time and talent in service to America.
