Issues: Treat Terrorists As Terrorists

Today my good friends at Redstate.com have joined with the publication Human Events to begin a petition drive to convince Attorney General Eric Holder to reverse his stated policy to bring the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to the United States for trial.
As you know, this terrorist is scheduled to be tried in New York City, mere blocks from the site of the World Trade Center and the place where more than 3,000 Americans died as a result of his plot on September 11, 2001. Bringing him to the United States, giving him access to our justice system and providing a platform to promote his brand of radical hatred is bad policy and highlights the Obama Administration’s wrongheaded approach to the War on Terror. As we saw with the Christmas Day bomb plot, this administration’s approach is not the way to keep Americans safe in a dangerous world. Today Democrat Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey declared that the ineffectiveness of the administration has “shaken the confidence of the American public.”
As Governor Sarah Palin said yesterday, “It’s a war, not a crime spree.”
Please take a moment to join me in signing the petition. Send a message to President Obama and his Attorney General that we expect a real commitment to national security.

I believe it is time we had better start treating terrorist like what they realy are, or we are are going to be in bigger trouble than ever. It is far past time for the Obama party to end and some real concern on these serious matters.
