Issues: The Search for Jobs

Tracking the numbers that show how far off the White House estimates were back in February when they promised that the “stimulus” bill would save or create almost 3.5 million jobs and hold the unemployment rate below 8% shows how far off base President Obama was.

Nine months after the liberals’ pork bill was pushed through Congress, America has now lost 2.6 million jobs, unemployment stands above 10% and our nation is looking for answers.

InTennessee, the White House estimated that their outrageous spending would save or create 70,000 jobs. To date, we have lost over 50,000 jobs. Where do you think jobs have been created?

It tells you where the Obama/Pelosi priorities are, doesn't it?

We need economic policies that give Americans the opportunity to once again determine their own future. Hard work should be rewarded. Americans should be able to return the profits they make into building and growing businesses, saving for retirement and providing for their families. The hostility of this government to business and entrepreneurship and its desire to see government take over every aspect of our lives is unprecedented and it needs to change.
