I enjoyed talking with so many folks who have followed me on Twitter or are “Facebook Friends”. To answer a commonly asked question, “Who writes the stuff for your Facebook?” or “Who posts for you on Twitter?” The answer is: me. For those who know me or are getting to know me, I remain the same person who wrote the monthly GOP newsletters while Chairman of the Hamilton County GOP from 1998-2002. I am the one who started and maintained a statewide women’s weekly update in 2003 and 2004 for the Women’s Coalition for President George W. Bush. I am the one who began and wrote the “Weekly Reports” that were distributed statewide from August 2007 until May 2009 fromthe Tennessee Republican Party. In other words, I remain committed to the grassroots of our county and state voters to provide useful information about conservative issues and to be personally involved and accessible. These days, when we see so many of the people who are supposed to represent us hiding from interacting with voters at town hall meetings, it's important to remember that staying connected to the people you represent is a vital part of service.
As a candidate to serve you, there is an absolute imperative that “We the people”are represented, not special interests, cronyism or politics as usual. That’s my commitment that stands on my personal proven record.
