Robin Smith Comments on Higher Health Costs to Seniors in House Bill

HIXSON, SEPTEMBER 3 – According to new information released by the Congressional Budget Office, 12 million senior Americans will pay up to 20% more for Medicare Part D drug prescription insurance under HR 3200, the government takeover of health care plan passed by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The CBO estimates were in response to inquiries made by Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee and demonstrate the fraudulent arguments for reform made by the liberal leadership in Congress.This estimate follows earlier CBO reports that show seniors could face an increase in Medicare Part B premiums reaching $24.9 billion.
