HIXSON, JUNE 11 – Third District Congressional Candidate Robin
Smith today released the first commercial of her campaign.
Smith focuses on out-of-control spending by the Obama Administration and
Democrat-controlled Congress in the advertisement and declares, “We can’t get
rid of President Obama in this election. But we can take away his checkbook.”
Smith vows to repeal the ObamaCare government takeover of the health care
system and cut rampant government spending.
“Over and over again I hear the same thing,” Smith said. “Tennesseans have had
enough of elite Washington liberals placing our children’s future at risk to
satisfy their obscene spending binge and they see our nation headed for the
cliff. They want leaders who will stand up to Barack Obama and tell him it’s
time to turn the wheel. With the arrogance of unchecked power in Washington, he
and his congressional cronies have refused to listen to us, so now we will be
heard at the ballot box.”
“Instead of fluffy taking points and the same old political ads, I want to
continue my conversation with Tennesseans about the path our country should
take, honestly and without fear. As a leader and private citizen, I have never
had difficulty standing up to liberal elites. This ad is no different. Until we
face these problems squarely and elect responsible people to Congress, we won’t
solve the problems Obama and Nancy Pelosi have created.”
