Smith Recognized for Stand Against Obama Health Care Takeover

HIXSON, TN – Third District Congressional Candidate Robin Smith was commended today by the grassroots organization DefundIt.org for her stand in opposition to President Obama’s government takeover of America’s health care system. The leadership of DefundIt.org applauded Smith’s promise to first deny funding to the expansion of government in the new law and then to repeal the law and replace it with true free market reform.

Smith was recognized by DefundIt.org Chairman Alex Cortes for signing the pledge to oppose funding for the new government bureaucrats, boards and agencies created by the new Obama/Pelosi health care law. "By signing our pledge, Smith has taken a leadership position in calling for the de-funding of ObamaCare as the first necessary step to fully repealing and replacing this unconstitutional, job-killing, fiscal train wreck. Americans and Tennesseans would have a friend in Congress with a principled public servant like Robin."
